LOS ANGELES WINS FIRST GAME OF ROLLER POLO
The first game of roller polo contested In the Southern California league was played last night between the Los Angeles and Long Bench teams on the Dreamland skating rink, and was won by the Angels with the score of 6 to 2. Thompkins, captain of the Los Angels team, is more experienced than most of the team members and played a first game last night. Five men compose the team, and the game is played similar to hockey or lacrosse. During the next month games will occur dally between the teams of the league, which comprises Los Angeles, Venice, Long Beach, Santa Ana and Pasadena.
